The roughest day

Another day off. Michelle and Nathan came over last night. He met the parentals and the brother. At least he wasn't scared. I don't think. We imbibed a bit. Slept til 9 this morning, laid in bed until 10 (Michelle and me, for clarification), went to breakfast at 11.

Spring City Restaurant

This was an interesting time. We promptly ordered Bloody Marys, water, and I added a coffee. I needed all those things, very obviously. We had a very interesting server, to say the least. He dropped off the Bloodies and told us it was party time. We were all #yolo. I told him that my delicious breakfast was going to make an appearance in my blog. He inquired, I left him the address. I don't think he's going to check it out, even though I did leave some fantastic artwork on the receipt, which was a stick figure (me before I eat things) and a whale (me after I eat things).

Sour dough toast totally trumps the healthier wheat option. Don't even care. American fries instead of hash browns was a fabulous choice. I then enjoyed a Western omelette with Swiss cheese that suspiciously resembled AMERICAN CHEESE. We sat and giggled for awhile, the loudest people in the fine establishment.

We then went shopping at Goodwill. It was the best experience of my life. Mostly because this happened:

I know this isn't me eating anything, but I just had to share it. Total expenditure: $4.47 (this included A Goofy Movie VHS, a book, a saber tooth tiger, and the Nine Days album from 2000).

BerrySimple <-- go like this FaceBook page.

I was supposed to meet Nathan at the froyo he is partners in at 7:30. THEY HAVE DELICIOUS FLAVORS. Like red velvet cheesecake. My two favorite kinds of cake (I don't care, I still think cheesecake is a pie, even if it technically isn't).

Red velvet cheesecake with graham cracker pieces. Ate the shizz out of that froyo. And if any of you have stumbled upon this because of the massive wall message I left at BerrySimple, you are my new favorite people.

Fuzzy's

The only good thing about a Tuesday or Thursday night is wings. Wingswingswings. I usually go to the good ol' Sports Page, but neither one of us felt like driving out there, so we hit up Fuzzy's (sorry I tried to link to their website but they don't have one) in downtown Waukesha. Not sure how I feel about the establishment, the waitress was kind of short (as in snappy), but the wings came out in a timely fashion and were delicious.

Nathan's arm has made another stunning cameo. I'm just trying to eat my parmesan garlic wings. I was not upset with the flavor choice. It was a dry rub instead of sauce, which sometimes I prefer, as I did this fine evening. After dinner, we went back to Nathan's and he played guitar and serenaded =) What a relaxing night.
