#firstworldproblems

I hate to inform everyone, but today is one of those days. Just overall blah. It's cloudy, I worked for about three hours, and I just got home from getting a haircut/eyebrow wax. And now... I want to go to the gym, but I also want to take a nap. But then I also want to make dinner, but I don't have anyone to make dinner for. #firstworldproblems

House

Breakfast was a mug full of generic Cheerios. A feast for kings. I basically had to eat and run since I had flower duty (I hate that word, but it most accurately describes my job) this morning, so I had to leave early to get to the store so I could be to work on time and so everyone else could cut the stems off the flowers and ferns and get them to the tables for decor which is pleasing to the eye.

Work

However, I made a separate purchase while at the store. It's one of those days.

CHOCOLATE!!! In the form of a Twix bar. I know all of you are worried. Don't fret, I didn't eat them together like that. Do I look like some kind of noob? One at a time, one at a time.

Work was slow and I was cut by 12:30. I went shopping for nail polish after work and came back with six new colors. I have such a rough life, I don't know how I keep myself together sometimes.

Back home one more time

I got home with about 45 minutes before I had to leave again to get my hurr did. So I looked in the fridge and this is what I found:

Some rotisserie chicken. I'm trying my best to be civilized, but I just don't want to get the BBQ sauce I put on it on my fingers. Spoiler: it didn't work.

Nathan's Casa
Went over to Nathan's. Made him and his roommate dinner. I enjoyed the scraps.

Apparently the boyfriend thinks garlic bread goes real well with chili. I'm still unsure about this, so I ate the garlic bread by itself. Then I shoved chili into that gaping hole which is my mouth. Here, you can even have the recipe. Everything is pretty vague, mostly because everything is to taste:

Kaylan's Fantastic Chili of Deliciousness
2-3 lbs ground beef/pork/turkey/whatever you want
2-3 large cans of petite diced tomatoes
1-2 packs of chili seasoning
1-2 red/green/yellow bell peppers
1/2-1 onion
1 bag frozen corn
1 can pinto beans
1 can black beans
NO KIDNEY BEANS EW.
fresh minced garlic, but the dry stuff works if you're in a pinch
any kind of chili powder (mild or hot)
cayenne pepper
salt
pepper
sour cream and shredded cheese of your choice for garnish
