10 cups of coffee for breakfast

I spent this entire day off taking care of adult things and posting my resume on every job site imaginable. I was also left with the question, why is it so hard to find out where my student loans come from? I had to call three different places. Shut the front door. I should only have to call one place, and that one place should be the place from whence my loans came.

During this time, I enjoyed about ten cups of coffee. Mostly because I like coffee, but even more so because I can't talk to people unless I've had at least six cups (relax, the mugs I drink out of hold two cups, so it was only three mugs).

Nathan was watching Pitch Black last night. I told him to stop because I wanted to watch it too. I even enticed him with the prospect of me making dinner and watching it. He agreed. He finished watching it anyway. Sneaky. I still made him dinner, since I am so wonderful.

Nathan's

Went to Best Buy on the way to the grocery store. I saw about a million display laptops hanging out, connected to the internet. The only logical thing to do was leave my blog on all of them. We headed to the grocery store. Bought a ton of salad goodies, and also chips and salsa since we wouldn't make it through the salad prepping phase without nourishment.

Chips and salsa while the chicken finished pan frying. I don't know how I didn't know this already, and maybe I did but forgot, but plain chicken is really bland. Anyway.

Here's the salad. It was a really tasty summertime salad. Here's what I used:

Summer Chicken Salad (better name later?)
1 head red lettuce
~2 chicken breasts, cooked however you want
strawberries
raspberries
blueberries
cucumber
red onion
shredded cheese of choice
dressing of choice (we used parmesan peppercorn)

Then we watched Pitch Black. I'm still not sure how I feel about Vin Diesel about an actor. I think it's because Vin Diesel sounds like a porn name to me, but maybe that's just me. I liked the movie though. I just wanted to see the aliens, but maybe it's best left to the imagination. I was kind of upset at the end of the movie. Watch it if you haven't seen it and then you will know why.

Home

I arrived home and was kind of hungry. I raided the fridge and knew it was summer.

Dad cut up a watermelon.
