Mi Casa
I had to look at this for a second because I was like, WTF am I eating? before I remembered it was my leftover tamale from yesterday. I don't know what was supposed to be in it, since it was mainly just the corn husk and whatever the hell they fill it with. Barely any meat, but if I had to guess, I'd say it was pork. It was ok. Not the best Mazatlan has ever provided for me, but I will live to see another day, and so will Mazatlan.
We will now skip ahead a few hours to when I came home from the gym. After I got ready I was feeling kind of hungry and there was no way I was going to sit hungry through a 2 1/2 hour movie.
Chowin' the chicken my brother made on Friday. I put some BBQ on that and it was fantastic. Then I basically had to run out the door for the movie. Which, I will say again, was wonderful.
Texas Roadhouse
This was the second time I've ever been to this establishment, and I still can't get over the delicious sugar rolls and whatever they do to that butter to make it taste like a cinnamon roll.
There I am, being all skeptical of the roll's deliciousness, and there I am again, not caring about carbs or calories (even though I should have since I had been to the gym earlier in the day).
I'm sorry, but there is no reason the Chicken Critter salad had to be that large. What the hell was I supposed to do with what was clearly about FIVE POUNDS of salad? Eat it until I could not eat it anymore, that's what. The dressing of choice was honey mustard. On the right, you see Nathan stealing some of the chicken, which was the whole reason I ordered the salad in the first place. Stealer. It was sooo good though. I was going to take it home but someone ended up eating most of it.
After closing down Texas Roadhouse, we went back to my car. We ended up closing down the movie theater too. I left last night with my Claddagh ring flipped the opposite direction =)
