Working all day

Stayed out too late last night, so I obviously rolled out of bed late. But I still made time for some breakfast and coffee AND managed to do laundry. Staying out past my bedtime was totally worth it =) Karaoke and food and beer. And a great date on top of that.

My Abode

Don't be jealous of my morning look. It is au natural I assure you. On the left, I'm devouring a low cal English muffin with crunchy peanut butter (which, I am thoroughly convinced, is the only peanut butter). On the right is some Chobani strawberry Greek yogurt entering my mouth for mastication. Basically inhaled it before I had to get ready for work. Speaking of work, you would be so proud. I didn't eat one thing while I was there (so far). That will probably change this evening. I mean, who doesn't like clam chowder?

Water Street Brewery

So apparently sometime between last night and this morning, the brewers left the door to the enclosed open, sending a storm of dust and debris into the room. The room where we host large parties. The room where... well... I suppose that's all we really do in that room. As the lucky servers that we are, we got to pick up the mess. Wipe tables and chairs, put up the chairs on the tables so we could sweet and mop, take down the chairs. It was spectacular. Because this was a thing, the manager bought us breakfast this morning. Panera bagels!
Chocolate chip bagel. That's where it's at. This was before the cream cheese was added. But this was the only half I ate, so I'm pretty sure I'm doing all right with the eating out business. So good. So good. And work wasn't terrible either. It's like the best day that ever happened. Well, I guess any day the managers (or others) bring food for everyone is the best day.

Home on my break

Well, it took a bit longer than expected to get food back to the house from the grocery store. So I made lunch instead of waiting til five minutes before I had to go back to work.

Left: pickle eating. Right: 1 egg, 2 egg white scrambled... thing... with Boar's Head natural Swiss folded in. Healthy Life wheat toast with light mayo. It was good, despite being the only legit food in the house. Beverage of choice was A&W 10 calorie root beer. Mmm hmmm.

Back at the WSB

Well, it wasn't that busy tonight, and there were a couple not so good tippers, but other than that, it was pretty all right. I didn't get a chance to chow until I was cut and started my side work. Which was my favorite side work, since it involves being near all the edibles. Clearly.

Look at me with all the edibles. On the left, I am clearly enjoying some homemade chips and delicious house tartar sauce. I love anything potato and tartar sauce. If you haven't tried it, you probably should. I don't even care if you don't like tartar sauce, you need to do it anyway. You will not regret it. On the right, you see me pictured with some clam chowder. Seriously, WSB clam chow chow is the best. I said it before about tartar sauce, but I don't care if you don't like clam chowder. This one will change your life. Anyway, consumables were consumed. Tasty consumables.
